This Green Bean Salad with Mayonnaise and Garlic is a simple, yet flavorful dish that combines tender green beans, hard-boiled eggs, and garlic with a creamy mayonnaise dressing. It can be served warm or cold, making it a versatile option for any meal.
Ingredients
- 400 g green beans, trimmed and cut
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 eggs
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 5–6 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Fresh herbs (optional)
- Salt, sugar, and pepper to taste
Method
- Hard boil the eggs, then place them in cold water to cool.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the frozen green beans. Cook for about 5 minutes, until tender but still slightly crisp. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Heat a skillet with butter and sauté the green beans on medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Transfer the cooked green beans to a large bowl. Press the minced garlic directly over the beans and stir to combine.
- Peel and chop the hard-boiled eggs, then add them to the green beans.
- Season the salad with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Add mayonnaise and mix everything thoroughly.
