Nachos with cheese are a classic party snack that never fails to please. This dish is versatile and can be customized with various toppings and ingredients, making it perfect for any occasion. Ingredients

  • 240 g hard cheese (that melts easily)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bag of nacho chips
  • ½ cup canned corn
  • 1 tomato
  • Jalapeño peppers (to taste)
  • Green onions (to taste)
  • Parsley (to taste)
  • Olives (to taste)

Method

  1. Start by cutting the cheese into cubes and placing it in a saucepan with the milk. Heat it over low flame, stirring continuously until it forms a smooth and thick cheese sauce.
  2. While the cheese melts, chop the onion and bell pepper. Sauté these vegetables in a small amount of vegetable oil for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. In a baking dish, create the first layer with nacho chips. Pour a third of the cheese sauce over the chips, then add a layer of sautéed vegetables. Repeat the layering process with the remaining chips, vegetables, and cheese sauce.
  4. Preheat your oven to 200°C (about 400°F) and bake the nachos for 5-7 minutes until they are heated through and the cheese is bubbly.
