A beloved appetizer at many gatherings, Deviled Eggs bring together creamy textures and a spicy kick. This recipe is simple yet flavorful, perfect for adding a little spice to your table.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2-3 drops Tabasco
  • Smoked paprika
  • Salt

Method

  1. Place the eggs in a pot of salted water, ensuring they are fully submerged. Bring the water to a boil, then let the eggs cook for 10 minutes. Once done, transfer them immediately into cold water to cool.
  2. Peel the cooled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Gently separate the yolks from the whites.
  3. Place the egg whites on a serving plate, and transfer the yolks into a large bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork, then mix in the mayonnaise and mustard until smooth and creamy. Adjust the salt to taste.
  4. Add 2-3 drops of Tabasco, depending on your spice preference, and stir thoroughly.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. To finish, sprinkle with smoked paprika for a hint of color and extra flavor. Enjoy!
