A beloved appetizer at many gatherings, Deviled Eggs bring together creamy textures and a spicy kick. This recipe is simple yet flavorful, perfect for adding a little spice to your table.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2-3 drops Tabasco
- Smoked paprika
- Salt
Method
- Place the eggs in a pot of salted water, ensuring they are fully submerged. Bring the water to a boil, then let the eggs cook for 10 minutes. Once done, transfer them immediately into cold water to cool.
- Peel the cooled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Gently separate the yolks from the whites.
- Place the egg whites on a serving plate, and transfer the yolks into a large bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork, then mix in the mayonnaise and mustard until smooth and creamy. Adjust the salt to taste.
- Add 2-3 drops of Tabasco, depending on your spice preference, and stir thoroughly.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. To finish, sprinkle with smoked paprika for a hint of color and extra flavor. Enjoy!
